Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods' dramatic spires and jagged rocks fins established the park as a natural landmark. Once sand dunes, the towering orange rocks are the result 250 million years later, Pikes Peak, an iconic 14'er, rises behind the ancient sedimentary rock formations creating a striking scene.

    Garden of the Gods sits at the feet of America's mountain, Pikes Peak. Take a trip to the summit for some incredible views. Journey to the top by booking a ticket with the cog railway or enjoy the drive up via Pikes Peak highway.

    Archaeological Sites

    Uncover ancient Anasazi ruins and discover the history behind these cliff dwellings at Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum and Preserve. These ruins originally resided in Mesa Verde for over 800 years. To preserve and protect the demolished ruins, pieces were relocated to Manitou Springs where they were reassembled with concrete. Thanks to this preservation guests are welcome to walk through and touch the dwellings.
